After ten years of the Trojan War, Agamemnon returns to his palace in Argos, only to find that Clytemnestra has not just been patiently waiting for him, but plotting and planning vengeance. Using the Ted Hughes translation, this modern production highlights a shattered and violent world, echoing current events.
