Dennis's short film MY DATE WITH ADAM is an official selection of the LandLocked Film Festival in Iowa City, Iowa in August. 

Based in Iowa City, the festival features 59 films screening over four days from August 21-24.

The short film MY DATE WITH ADAM, written and directed by Dennis, will screen at the 4th Annual Robot Film Festival  on July 19th at 2:30 pm in San Francisco's Potrero Hill.

This year's theme is "Telepresence & Identity: Human-Machine Integration.” 

The Saturday events open with complimentary donuts, followed by the US premiere of Japanese film “Hinokio” and curated sessions of short film screenings. After a complementary wood-fire pizza dinner, we will open the red carpet with complementary beverages and robot demos. The official awards ceremony of the Robot Film Festival, the "Botskers," will honor the 3D-printed statuette winners in a black tie gala with a performance by the cyborg instrumentals of Jazari. Don't forget your party shoes! Black tie or robot costume are recommended for the evening events. 



This is not your ordinary film festival. Through an online archive of films and traveling screenings at select venues around the country, the Robot Film Festival aims to nurture a vibrant interdisciplinary community of creatives and technologists in an ongoing conversation about our developing relationship with the machines we create. The Robot Film Festival was founded in 2011 by Heather Knight, Marek Michalowski, and Chrys Wu, and is produced by Marilyn Monrobot, BeatBots, and Bot & Dolly.

Dennis is excited to announce that his short film MY DATE WITH ADAM is the 2014 Winner for Best Comedy Short Film for the High Desert International Film Festival.

The screening in May was the Nevada premiere (Dennis' home state).  The film will next been seen in the Film Market at the 2014 Palm Springs International Shortsfest in June.

Dennis is proud to announce that beginning in the fall of 2014, he will be joining the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh as Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre Arts.

His new role will include being Head of the MFA Pedagogy Performance program, teaching acting and other performance classes, as well as directing productions on the Pitt Stages main stage.  

He is scheduled to direct DOG IN THE MANGER by Lope de Vega for the 2014-2015 season.

Dennis is pleased to announce that his short film MY DATE WITH ADAM is an official selection of Sci-Fi London, the 14th London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film! This will be the film's international and U.K. premiere!

The rom-com with a sci-fi twist will be screening at the festival on Sunday, April 27th.

The short comedic film is an official selection of the High Desert International Film Festival and will have a screening in May.  The High Desert Fest is in Pahrump, just outside Las Vegas.

The movie will screen on Friday April 4th and Sunday April 6th as part of a series of short films.

AGAMEMNON at Pitt Stages (University of Pittsburgh) opened on Friday, February 14 and is enjoying a wonderful run. Performances are tonight until Sunday, February 23.  Click here for tickets.

After ten years of the Trojan War, Agamemnon returns to his palace in Argos, only to find that Clytemnestra has not just been patiently waiting for him, but plotting and planning vengeance. Using the Ted Hughes translation, this modern production highlights a shattered and violent world, echoing current events. 

Following the Saturday evening performance on the 15th, there will be a special talkback with the director, cast & crew and distinguished veterans.

Pleased and honored to announce that the short film MY DATE WITH ADAM is an official selection of the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival.

Although a romantic comedy, the movie has definite science fiction elements (robots are prominently featured as one of the characters is a CMU roboticist).

As part of a special Valentine's Day program, the movie will be screened with several other romantic sci-fi shorts on February 14 at 5:00 pm at The Somerville Theater in Boston.
